You remember your best friend's birthday late the night before. You open your phone, choose her flowers, and check out before you fall asleep. The next day they arrive looking like you spent an hour picking them. This is why I built Spring Florets.
Hi, I'm Agnes. I run a small floral studio in Singapore for people who love the people in their lives but do not have time to fuss over a gift.
I did not set out to be a florist. I started part-time at my sister's flower shop to pass the time. Then the pandemic hit, our lead florist left during the lockdown, and I was suddenly running the shop with one colleague. Neither of us knew how to arrange a single stem. We learned on the job, one order at a time, keeping the flowers fresh and the customers happy through a very hard year.
Seven years on, floristry is my craft and my favourite part of the day. Here is what those years taught me. A bouquet is one of the clearest ways to tell someone you see them, you appreciate them, this moment matters. Life gets loud and we forget to say it. Flowers say it for you.
Most of my customers are working professionals and busy parents. They want to mark a birthday, an anniversary, a farewell, or simply someone's rough week, and they want it done beautifully without the mental load.
